How Reward Pools Work

Every contribution funds not just carbon projects — it also accrues RP that flows into shared reward pools.

Contribute or Refer

Every verified contribution and referral earns Regeneration Points (RP). RP is the unit of participation in all reward pools.

RP Accrues to Pool

A percentage of each contribution's RP flows into the campaign's weekly (or daily) reward pool. The funding rate is set per drop by the sponsoring brand.

Snapshot at Period End

At the end of each period, the protocol snapshots everyone's weighted RP share (70% contribution weight, 30% referral weight) to compute individual pool allocations.

Distribution & Claim

Pool RP is distributed proportionally. Top contributors and referrers receive the largest shares. Claims vest into your account balance after settlement.

How Your Share is Computed

At the end of each pool period, a snapshot is taken. Your weighted RP is:

weighted_rp = (contribution_rp × 0.7) + (referral_rp × 0.3)

Your share of the pool is weighted_rp / total_weighted_rp. Contribution RP is weighted more heavily than referral RP to reward direct participation.
