What Is a Project Pack?

A Project Pack is a project-specific allocation measured in hectares. It represents your share of a verified mangrove restoration project after the first audit has been completed and the yield profile established.

Unlike receipts (which are tranche-level), packs are project-specific. Each pack ties to a real plot of restored mangrove with a recorded yield profile from a verified audit.

Atomic unit: 1 hectare of a specific project

Only activated after first Verra audit is verified

Yield profile recorded from audit source data

Can be deposited into the BCG pool for index token

Regeneration Receipt

  • Issued immediately on contribution
  • Tranche-level (not project-specific)
  • Records participation amount + timestamp
  • Used for entitlement computation

Project Pack

  • Claimable only after first audit
  • Project-specific (tied to real hectares)
  • Includes yield profile from verified audit
  • Can be deposited into pool for index token
Lifecycle

From Receipt to Pack to Pool

Packs are the bridge between your tranche participation and the BCG index token.

01

Contribute & Receive Receipt

Your contribution is recorded. A receipt is issued as tranche participation proof.

02

First Audit Verified

The project completes its first Verra audit. Yield profile is established from verified data.

03

Packs Become Claimable

Project-specific hectare packs are activated. You can claim your allocation based on receipt entitlement.

04

Deposit into Pool

Deposit packs into the BCG pool. Index tokens are minted proportional to pack value. Governance weight activated.

FAQ

Common Questions

When can I claim my pack?

After the project's first Verra audit is verified and the yield profile is recorded. This is not immediate — it follows real-world verification timelines.

Can I choose which project I get?

Allocation is determined by the tranche allocation plan published at tranche close. You receive packs proportional to your receipt entitlement.

What happens if I don't deposit into the pool?

You can hold packs without depositing. But governance weight and index token access require pool deposit.

Are packs transferable?

Pack transfer rules are governed by platform terms. Check the current terms for transferability status.
