Liquid Nature
Infrastructure.
Blue Carbon Gold is the transparent funding infrastructure for coastal ecosystem restoration. We aggregate high-integrity blue carbon projects into auditable, on-chain assets — making verified climate impact accessible, traceable, and rewarding for everyone who participates.
40% of the World's Mangroves Are Gone
Coastal ecosystems — mangroves, seagrass meadows, salt marshes — are among the most carbon-dense ecosystems on earth. They sequester carbon at 3–5x the rate of tropical rainforests. They shelter 150 million people from coastal flooding. They are nursery grounds for 80% of commercial fish species.
And we've lost 40% of them in the past 50 years. The rate of loss continues to accelerate. Meanwhile, the carbon markets designed to fund restoration remain inaccessible, opaque, and disconnected from the communities doing the work.
BCG exists to fix the infrastructure problem. Not the science — the science is clear. The funding pipeline, the verification layer, the community engagement tools — that's what's missing.
Transparent Infrastructure. On-Chain Proof. Real Restoration.
BCG is not a charity. It's not an exchange. It's infrastructure — the neutral layer that connects project developers, contributors, brands, and impact organizations through a shared, verifiable ledger of restoration activity.
Tranche Funding
We structure capital deployment around verified milestones. Contributors fund tranches. Tranches deploy to projects. Projects get funded based on audit outcomes — not promises. Every allocation plan is published before funds are deployed.
On-Chain Verification
Every contribution, every audit milestone, every pack activation — anchored on-chain. Your Regeneration Receipt exists independently of BCG as a company. The proof is not in our database; it's in the blockchain.
Pool Aggregation
Individual project packs flow into an index pool. The BCG Index Token represents diversified exposure across all verified projects — giving contributors pool-level liquidity and governance weight rather than single-project concentration.
Why BCG Is Different
Traditional Carbon Offsets
- Opaque project selection and fund allocation
- Offset certificates with no public verification
- No ongoing tracking of project performance
- Broker intermediaries extract significant margin
- One-time transactions with no community engagement
Blue Carbon Gold
- On-chain receipts at every contribution step
- Verra audit milestones tracked and published publicly
- Real-time yield profile and issuance data per project
- Direct tranche allocation with published allocation plans
- Community rewards, RP leaderboards, brand campaigns
What We Stand For
Radical Transparency
Every contribution, every allocation, every audit milestone — anchored on-chain and publicly verifiable. We don't ask you to trust us; we give you the infrastructure to verify everything yourself.
Verification First
We align every design decision with Verra VCS audit standards. Receipts, packs, and pool tokens are only activated after independent verification events — not on our word alone.
Community Ownership
The platform is built to serve contributors, not extract from them. RP rewards, referral attribution, and governance rights go to participants — the people funding restoration.
Ecosystem Thinking
We don't just fund individual projects. We build diversified tranches, pool-level indices, and ecosystem-wide accounting — because the greatest impact comes from thinking at scale.
Community-First Restoration
Every project must demonstrate community co-benefit provisions — local employment, food security programs, and fair revenue sharing tied to restoration outcomes.
Capital Efficiency
Tranche-based funding structures capital deployment around milestones — not upfront transfers to unknown accounts. Every dollar is traceable to a specific restoration activity.
Built for the Whole Ecosystem
BCG is infrastructure — not a single product. The platform serves every participant in the restoration value chain.
Individual Contributors
Anyone who wants to fund real coastal restoration with verifiable proof — not a certificate and a story.
Brands & Organizations
Companies that want to build campaigns, engage communities, and measure real regenerative impact — not just buy offsets.
Impact Organizations
NGOs, foundations, and CSR programs that need verifiable audit-linked reporting for stakeholders and annual reports.
Project Developers
Restoration project teams that want access to structured tranche funding with milestone-based accountability.
Developers
Technical teams that want to embed BCG contribution flows, transparency data, or widget campaigns into their products.
Where We Are and Where We're Going
Updated for March 31, 2026. The roadmap is now centered on closing the first tranches, launching the fund, enabling NFT submission into the index pool, and scaling only as fast as the restoration and verification pipeline can support.
Raise Tranche 01
Close the first $2.5M tranche, publish launch materials, and move the core contribution funnel into steady operation for the fund launch.
Raise Tranche 02
Open a second $2.5M tranche while marketing, contributor onboarding, and operating cadence become repeatable across the fund.
NFT Submission Into The Index Pool
Enable pack and NFT submission into the BCG index pool, with visible receipt-to-pack-to-pool tracking and contributor claim flows.
Scale To $5.0M
Expand the pipeline to the next Fibonacci-style tranche target with stronger partner distribution, launch campaigns, and developer integrations.
Scale To $7.5M And $12.5M
Repeat the operating model with tighter verification discipline, deeper pool liquidity, broader project intake, and more durable contributor retention.
Scale To $20.0M
Run the fund as a mature impact platform with diversified pool depth, governed allocation rules, and a sustainable carbon-credit growth pipeline.
Marketing, BD, and Tech Move Together
Marketing
Refresh the launch narrative around restoration impact, not speculative upside.
Ship tranche-specific landing content, partner kits, and contributor education assets.
Turn transparency, receipts, and pool reporting into repeatable campaign proof points.
Business Development
Build the first distribution relationships needed to close the opening $2.5M tranches.
Onboard project, brand, and mission-aligned channel partners into a shared launch calendar.
Stage tranche growth around repeatable partner demand instead of one-off fundraising bursts.
Technology
Launch the fund operating surfaces with contribution, receipt, and reporting flows fully connected.
Enable NFT submission into the index pool with transparent state changes and audit visibility.
Keep scaling the widget, API, and transparency stack so every tranche is easier to verify and distribute.
Fibonacci-Style Tranche Scaling
Launch the fund and prove the operating model.
Repeat the close with the same discipline and better distribution.
Broaden demand once onboarding, reporting, and pool flows are stable.
Add more verified supply while preserving contributor clarity.
Deepen the pool and fund more restoration without breaking trust.
Operate at scale with auditable governance and durable carbon throughput.
The goal is not abstract financial growth. The goal is to increase verified hectares, carbon-credit throughput, and index-pool depth at a pace the ecosystem can actually absorb.
Built on Established Standards
Every project on BCG operates under Verra VCS (Verified Carbon Standard) — the world's most widely used voluntary carbon standard. We specifically require Verra's VM0033 methodology for tidal wetland and seagrass restoration, which governs how blue carbon sequestration is measured and verified.
Our transparency surfaces display live data from Verra's public registry. When credits are issued, we read from the registry source — not from our own records. The audit trail terminates at an independent, globally recognized standard-setting body.
Verra VCS (VM0033) — tidal wetland and seagrass methodology
Verra CCB (Climate, Community & Biodiversity) co-benefits standard
Independent VVB (Validation & Verification Body) requirements
Registry-sourced data for all issuance and retirement records
Sylvera project quality ratings referenced for partner projects
Verra VCS
Voluntary Carbon Standard — the world's leading voluntary GHG program for carbon credits. VM0033 methodology governs blue carbon measurement.
Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB)
Co-benefit standard ensuring projects deliver measurable outcomes for local communities and biodiversity alongside carbon sequestration.
Sylvera Quality Ratings
Third-party project quality assessments from Sylvera — the leading carbon credit ratings provider. BCG partner projects are evaluated against independent quality benchmarks.
Verra Registry (Public)
All credit issuance and retirement data sourced directly from Verra's public registry. Publicly accessible and independently verifiable.
